Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to create comprehensive audio-visual system designs that address specific requirements and deliver optimal performance.
- Support the installation and integration of audio-visual systems, ensuring all components are correctly designed and functioning as intended.
- Assist the assigned Project Manager in managing audio-visual projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure our audio-visual solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- Work with the assigned Project Manager as needed to conduct training sessions for clients to ensure they are comfortable using their new audio-visual systems and can maximize their benefits.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all audio-visual projects, including system diagrams, scope of work, bill of materials, user manuals, and maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Must-have: Bachelor's degree in audio-visual technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining audio-visual systems, preferably in a professional or commercial setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with audio-visual equipment, including projectors, video walls, complex AV systems, displays, sound systems, control systems, video conferencing platforms, and networking.
Competencies
- Must-have: Education - Bachelor's degree in audio-visual technology, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Must-have: Experience - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing, installing, and maintaining audio-visual systems, preferably in a professional or commercial setting.
- Nice-to-have: Technical Skills - Proficiency with audio-visual equipment, including projectors, video walls, complex AV systems, displays, sound systems, control systems, video conferencing platforms, and networking.
- Nice-to-have: Certifications - Relevant industry certifications, such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), are highly desirable.
- Nice-to-have: Software - Experience using D-Tools, Acumatica, and Microsoft.
- Must-have: Problem-Solving - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Must-have: Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must-have: Team Player - Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
