Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Audio Prep Technician (Engineer). This position is full-time, onsite at our Van Nuys facility, Monday – Friday 9:00am – 6:00pm with some overtime and weekends as needed. The wage is $28 - $34 per hour based on experience.
Key Duties
- Testing and configuration of audio and intercom hardware
- Design and build packages based on client requirements
- Provide technical support to internal and external clients remotely and on site
- Perform repairs and upgrades as needed on various gear
- Work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Ability to install and troubleshoot audio and intercom devices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to solve unusual or unexpected problems
- Effective communication skills are a must
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years of experience in the Broadcast, Sports, and Entertainment Industry
- Audio/RF Audio and Intercom Experience
