Audio Engineer - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Remote Audio Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of audio production, from recording and editing to mixing and mastering, for a variety of projects including music, podcasts, video content, and virtual events. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality audio output for all our productions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional audio mixing and mastering for diverse projects, ensuring optimal sound quality, clarity, and adherence to industry standards.
• Execute precise audio editing, including noise reduction, vocal tuning, timing correction, and sound restoration.
• Design and implement sound effects (SFX) and ambient audio (Foley) to enhance narrative and immersive experiences.
• Collaborate effectively with producers, directors, artists, and other team members through various remote communication and project management tools.
• Manage and organize audio assets, project files, and backups efficiently in a cloud-based environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical audio issues related to recording, playback, and software/hardware conflicts remotely.
• Provide technical guidance and support to remote collaborators regarding microphone placement, recording techniques, and home studio setups.
• Stay current with the latest audio engineering technologies, software, and industry best practices.
• Ensure all audio deliverables meet specified technical requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of quality control across all audio productions.
