Responsibilities
- Set up and operate studio equipment for audiobook recording sessions
- Apply punch-and-roll techniques to maintain continuity and minimize errors
- Collaborate with narrators and production staff to achieve optimal vocal performance and clarity
- Monitor audio quality throughout sessions, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
- Edit and prepare audio files for post-production, ensuring files meet industry standards
- Maintain a professional, organized studio environment during all sessions
Requirements
- Proven experience recording audiobooks in a professional studio setting
- Proficiency with punch-and-roll recording workflows
- Strong knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Audition)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, error-free audio
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must be based in San Diego; this is an on-site role with no travel or remote options
- Able to work independently and manage time efficiently during sessions
- Familiarity with corporate, commercial, and narration projects is a plus
