What You’ll Do

We are seeking a Litigation Associate or experienced attorney for an Of Counsel position with at least 5+ years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience. Based in our Hackensack office, this role offers immediate client interaction and responsibility, along with opportunities to handle complex litigation cases.

• Represent clients in tort and insurance defense litigation matters.
• Handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Provide strategic counsel and take responsibility for client matters from the outset.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
• Manage multiple assignments independently while maintaining attention to detail.

What You’ll Bring

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum of 5+ years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional judgment, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external clients.
• Proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, and a collaborative, friendly work environment. The salary range for this role is $140,000-$160,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
