What You Will Do
MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR CHILDREN! Attorneys at Children’s Legal Services advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children. With over 300 attorneys, CLS leads in courtroom advocacy at every stage of a Chapter 39 proceeding. As a supervising attorney, you will oversee multiple cases, ensuring compliance with Florida and federal legal requirements to secure permanent and safe homes for dependent children. You will collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence and prepare them to serve as witnesses at trial. Your role involves advocating for children using best practice litigation techniques to lead national dependency advocacy.
Qualifications
- Law Degree
- Member of the Florida Bar
- Supervising attorney experience
- Litigation experience preferred
- Strong communication and writing skills

Compensation
A full-time permanent appointment comes with an annual base salary of $83,782.40 and a total compensation inclusive of benefits valued at a minimum of $115,950.
