Attorney Resource Center Specialist
About the role
The ARC Specialist provides administrative and document production support to attorneys and administrative departments firm-wide. The role requires working in a team-oriented environment to deliver high-quality service to both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Create, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentations from draft or dictated text with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare pleadings, briefs, and related documents, including Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities, in accordance with firm and court standards.
- Apply firm-approved styles, formatting, and document standards consistently.
- Manage and prioritize assigned work requests and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Cooky/coordinator with other ARC team members and firm resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting priorities and attorney needs.
- Utilize and apply firm technology and software tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and work quality.
- Remain current on firm systems, procedures, and best practices relevant to administrative and document support functions.
- Collaborate with attorneys, ARC colleagues, and administrative departments to support firm objectives.
- Adhere to all firm policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred, bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience at a law firm, legal department, or corporate environment preferred.
- Exceptional technical skills with advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven proficiency using legal terminology and supporting related practice area(s).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure, detail-oriented environment using sound judgment and initiative.
- Ability to independently gather, organize, and summarize information to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying attorney work styles, practice areas, and administrative requirements.
- High level of proficiency using standard office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, telephones, and transcription equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Professional demeanor and appearance, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and providing outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.
Pay
The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $69,700 - $90,000.
