About the role

The ARC Specialist provides administrative and document production support to attorneys and administrative departments firm-wide. The role requires working flexible hours to ensure firmwide coverage and alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Create, revise, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, memoranda, spreadsheets, and presentations from draft or dictated text with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare pleadings, briefs, and related documents, including Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities, in accordance with firm and court standards.
  • Apply firm-approved styles, formatting, and document standards consistently.
  • Manage and prioritize assigned work requests and projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborate with other ARC team members and firm resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting priorities and attorney needs.
  • Utilize and apply firm technology and software tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and work quality.
  • Remain current on firm systems, procedures, and best practices relevant to administrative and document support functions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, ARC colleagues, and administrative departments to support firm objectives.
  • Adhere to all firm policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree preferred, bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ related experience at a law firm, legal department, or corporate environment preferred.
  • Exceptional technical skills with advanced working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven proficiency using legal terminology and supporting related practice area(s).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure, detail-oriented environment using sound judgment and initiative.
  • Ability to independently gather, organize, and summarize information to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to adapt to varying attorney work styles, practice areas, and administrative requirements.
  • High level of proficiency using standard office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, telephones, and transcription equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and providing outstanding customer service to internal and external clients.

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $69,700 - $90,000.
