About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to provide project-based support due to a significant influx of cases. This fully remote opportunity offers flexible hours and meaningful legal work focused on litigation support, legal research, and legal writing. The role is ideal for an attorney between positions, a solo practitioner looking to supplement their practice, or an attorney seeking flexible remote work while maintaining a strong litigation caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Assist with case strategy and litigation support
• Review case materials and provide legal recommendations
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams on overflow work
• Ensure work product is completed accurately and within deadlines

Requirements

• Active Bar license in good standing (Wisconsin preferred, but other locations considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of insurance defense experience required
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Prior civil litigation experience preferred
