About the Role
Hall & Evans, LLC is looking for an experienced litigation attorney with medical malpractice experience to join our Las Vegas office. We offer a collegial business casual environment, opportunities to develop clients, and a chance to work with talented attorneys. Upon successful completion of training, this position may allow for a hybrid working schedule, with three days spent in the office and two days working remotely from home.
Requirements
- Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada
- Medical malpractice litigation experience
- A strong work ethic and proven case management skills
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Exceptional research and writing skills
- Ability to travel
- Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Interviewing and meeting with client representatives
- Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy
- Responsibility for handling own files/matters
- Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
- Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions
- Experience with large document production and database matters
- First chair mediation experience (preferred)
- Management and delegation of work to paralegals
- First chair trial/arbitration experience (preferred)
- Schedule and payment claim experience (preferred)
- Marketing and business development interest
- Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations (preferred)

Schedule
