About the Role

Hall & Evans, LLC is looking for an experienced litigation attorney with medical malpractice experience to join our Las Vegas office. We offer a collegial business casual environment, opportunities to develop clients, and a chance to work with talented attorneys. Upon successful completion of training, this position may allow for a hybrid working schedule, with three days spent in the office and two days working remotely from home.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada
  • Medical malpractice litigation experience
  • A strong work ethic and proven case management skills
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Ability to travel
  • Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Interviewing and meeting with client representatives
  • Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy
  • Responsibility for handling own files/matters
  • Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
  • Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting
  • Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation
  • Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions
  • Experience with large document production and database matters
  • First chair mediation experience (preferred)
  • Management and delegation of work to paralegals
  • First chair trial/arbitration experience (preferred)
  • Schedule and payment claim experience (preferred)
  • Marketing and business development interest
  • Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations (preferred)

Schedule

Hybrid working schedule: three days in the office and two days working remotely from home (upon successful completion of training).
