About the role

Stange Law Firm, PC has an anticipated opening for a motivated, dynamic attorney to join our growing team in the Sioux Falls, South Dakota market. We are actively expanding and exploring opportunities in the Sioux Falls area. This position is expected to be based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with the exact office location to be determined.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial
• Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients
• Maintain organized and accurate case files
• Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required
• Licensed to practice law in South Dakota or eligible for admission
• Strong communication and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage cases effectively and professionally
• Family law experience preferred, but not required

Qualifications

• Senior Associate opportunities available for attorneys with five or more years of litigation experience
