Attorney IV

About the role

The Attorney IV in the OPL performs sensitive and complex legal work for the DMHC relating to health care service plans and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBM).

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership pertaining to plan benefits and plan and provider payment, risk and delegation arrangements.
• Review of complex legal matters and conduct legal research in connection with the administration and regulation of licensees pursuant to the Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 (Act) and the implementation of Federal Health Care Reform.
