Attorney

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including arbitrations, mediations, motions, trials and appeals.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations in various matters.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the law office to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting practice areas, particularly in Personal Injury Law and Worker's Compensation Law.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar association is required.
• Previous experience in litigation and jury trials, preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw is recommended.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Personal Injury Law and Worker's Compensation Law.
