Litigation Associate Attorney - California Location: California Experience: 0-3 Years Work Arrangement: On-site Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time About The Opportunity A growing civil litigation law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience, develop courtroom skills, and participate directly in case preparation and trial proceedings. The attorney will work on civil litigation matters, with opportunities to conduct depositions, prepare cases for trial, and strengthen practical litigation skills under the guidance of experienced attorneys. Key Responsibilities Handle civil litigation matters from case development through trial preparation.Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and briefs.Take and defend depositions.Assist with trial strategy, case preparation, and courtroom proceedings.Manage multiple assignments and deadlines efficiently.Apply relevant procedural rules and court requirements to litigation matters. Qualifications Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.0-3 years of litigation experience.Familiarity with the California Code of Civil Procedure and California Rules of Court.Comfortable taking and defending depositions.Strong courtroom presence and persuasive communication skills.Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
