Responsibilities

• Handle insurance defense litigation with a heavy focus on premises liability.
• Take and defend depositions, conduct discovery, draft and argue discovery and dis positive motions, and prepare cases for trial.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on quality client service and efficient case resolution.
• Track and meet minimum billable hour requirements (150 hours/month).
• Leverage Microsoft 365, document management systems, and billing software to stay organized and productive.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of insurance defense litigation experience (premises liability strongly preferred) preferred but not required.
• Proven expertise in depositions, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, document management, and time tracking for billable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.

Pay

Salary: $160k‑$180k. Attorneys with trial experience or interest in trials: $180,000+ annual salary, plus step‑up/performance bonuses for billing over 150 hours. Attorneys with less trial experience: $130,000‑$150,000 annual salary, plus bonuses for exceeding billable expectations.
