About the role
Pacific Northwest Family Law is hiring Associate Attorneys in Richland, Yakima, Bellevue, and Walla Walla. We welcome attorneys at every experience level. Our attorneys focus on active cases—not initial consultations, lead screening, or collections—and are supported by paralegals, intake staff, and an experienced attorney team.
Responsibilities
- Learn family law, case strategy, courtroom advocacy, and client management under the guidance of a firm partner.
- Work directly with clients on active legal matters.
- Collaborate with a supportive team including paralegals, intake staff, and other attorneys.
Requirements
- Active member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association.
Qualifications
- Experience in family law preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Newly licensed attorneys generally start at $80,000; attorneys with six or more years of relevant experience generally start at $160,000 or more.
Schedule
The annual expectation is 1,400 billed and collected hours plus up to 100 approved pro bono hours.
