About the Role

Our client, an insurance defense firm located in central Phoenix near the Biltmore, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience. This role involves handling a high volume of cases in complex civil litigation, construction, and personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will have prior insurance defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Case evaluation, recommendation, and support.
• Communicate with client and counsel.
• Propound and respond to discovery.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda.
• Draft complaints, motions, and other pleadings and documents.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings.
• Prepare for and attend mediation.
• Provide excellent service to all clients.

Qualifications

• Must be in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and to multitask while demonstrating strong attention to detail.
• Experience with depositions, motions and court hearings are required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Believe in being a team player.
