About the role

The McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is seeking two experienced attorneys to join their West Des Moines, Iowa office. They are looking for individuals who can practice in workers' compensation defense and contribute to the firm's growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence
• Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations
• Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients
• Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm
• Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere
• Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment

Requirements

Must have at least 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in workers' compensation defense. Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Iowa.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal software is preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
