About the role

King Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team of legal professionals based out of the firm’s Morganton, NC office.

Responsibilities

- New client consults - Managing a caseload - Researching and writing legal documents - Attending court, mediations, depositions, and other proceedings

Requirements

- Licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing - Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred, but not required

Qualifications

- Strong legal skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation - Effective negotiation and mediation skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities
