Attorney
Job Duties
- Manage and litigate cases related to managed care and health care issues
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering legal advice and coordinating case-related activities
- Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations
- Conduct detailed legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Represent clients in court, arbitration proceedings, and settlement negotiations
- Provide significant case management and client counseling, coordinating with associates and staff
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in managed care and health care regulations
Qualifications
- Firm Type: Litigation or Healthcare
- Experience: 3-5 Years
- The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in complex matters and employment litigation and arbitration, with a focus on managed care or health care.
- This role requires excellent academic credentials, strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar
- 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex litigation and arbitration
- Experience with managed care or health care is required
- Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters
- Strong client counseling and case management skills
- Exceptional academic credentials
- Advanced writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills
