About the Role

Donato Brown Pool & Moehlmann, PLLC provides high-quality, professional legal services primarily to professional and business clients in an ethical, prompt, and cost-effective manner. This role involves providing legal advice and counseling to clients on various matters, analyzing legal issues, researching relevant laws and regulations, and offering guidance on the best course of action.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
• Review documents drafted by other parties to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and motions. Present arguments, examine and cross-examine witnesses, and advocate for clients' interests.
• Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, and legal opinions to support arguments and provide accurate advice.
• Meet and communicate with clients to understand their legal needs, discuss case strategies, and provide updates on legal proceedings.
• Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable settlements in legal disputes.
• Uphold high ethical standards, maintain client confidentiality, avoid conflicts of interest, and act in the best interests of clients.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents through continuing legal education.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with word processing software.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagram, or schedule).
