Levy is hiring a Warehouse Attendant to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products. Essential duties

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
• Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code)
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing station or shipping department
• Mark materials with identifying information
• Open bales, crates, and other containers
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
• Use computer to enter records
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
• Drive vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
• Prepare parcels for mailing
• Maintain inventory records
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

Safety requirements

• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others
• Use of medium-weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or cleaning a slicer
• Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables
• Use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
