Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Beverage Manager, the incumbent maintains adequate levels of bar glassware as required and a high standard of cleanliness to the bar areas to ensure high caliber service to customers.

Essential Job Functions

• Adequately remove glassware from the casino floor
• Detail clean equipment
• Wash, sweep, sanitize, and remove trash
• Maintain grounds maintenance
• Ensure ample supplies of glassware are available during service periods
• Receive soiled glassware and place items according to size and likeness on an automatic dishwashing conveyor belt
• Operate dish machines
• Remove washed glassware from the automatic dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use
• Polish glassware
• Return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
• Return glassware to proper departments
• Collect glassware from stationary casino beverage carts
• Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation practices and procedures to ensure that bars and related equipment remain clean, sanitary, and odor-free at all times
• Knowledgeable of and adherence to food and beverage department regulations and procedures
• Promote positive public/employee relations at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification preferred

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities
