ATS - Assembler - 2nd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an ATS - Assembler - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour. The shift hours are 3:30pm - 2am.

Responsibilities

• Perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment.
• Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
• Pack and prepare product for shipping.
• Build/Wire Main Breaker Units
• Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure
• Build/wire/ doors and electrical devices
• Build/install copper
• Complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship
• Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
• Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
• Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
• Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalate production issues immediately
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Required (Basic):
• Able to lift 35 pounds – waist, shoulder, overhead
• Proven history of safe work habits
• Must be able to work effectively without direct supervision
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in mechanical and wiring roles
