Résumé
This position involves performing routine and repetitive assembly and testing operations for aircraft parts in a manual manufacturing assembly line environment. Employees will work in a team setting, participate in continuous improvement activities, and use various tools such as pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and power tools.
Responsabilités
- Manufacture quality parts following specific work instructions
- Provide verbal and written status updates on manufacturing progress
- Apply and handle sealants and adhesives
- Perform less complex acceptance test procedures using specific test equipment
- Train manufacturing methods to other less skilled Assemblers and Test Technicians as requested by the Supervisor
- Conduct and certify ATPs on all sub-assemblies and top assemblies according to ATP requirements for the Water, and Conveyance focus factories (excluding Airstair ATP)
- Ensure that all applicable functional and/or dielectric test data is recorded and completed as required
Requis
- High School Education or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of related shop experience
- Ability to read complex blueprints and understand electrical schematics
- Experience working with tools such as pneumatic tools, basic hand tools, and power tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
- Complete knowledge of related aircraft hardware as it relates to hardware, screws and bolts (NAS, MS, AN, etc.)
- Knowledge to troubleshoot the assemblies being tested
- Knowledge on how to use different test equipment, vacuum, gauges, and other instruments
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and related specifications
