ATM- Field Service Technician I- Entry Level - Edison/Trenton, NJ

This role is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.

This is an on-site position based in Edison, NJ or Trenton, NJ, following a Friday–Tuesday schedule with Wednesday and Thursday off. Shift options include:

• 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
• 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
• 11:00 am – 9:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Represent the company brand as the first line of response on-site at customer locations.
• Problem-solve at a basic module level (FRU), organize and plan your time effectively, and escalate issues as needed.
• Apply on-the-job training to resolve straightforward technical problems, emphasizing manual skills.
• Provide consistent and clear communication via the company’s service app to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety and security procedures when working on ATMs.
• Complete company-specific trainings and certifications.
• Diagnose problems using ATM error logs and information from the service app (via a company-provided Android phone).
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs, both indoors and outdoors.
• Accurately report updates, work details, and call closures.
• Maintain parts inventory and related records.
• Report hours worked and miles driven daily.

Requirements

• Must reside in the specified geographic area (Edison, NJ or Trenton, NJ).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
• Familiarity with operating an Android cell phone (company-provided).
• Ability to perform essential job functions, including:
  • Prolonged travel during work hours, including in inclement weather.
  • Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and working with hands.
  • Repetitive grasping and manipulating objects of varying sizes.
• Proof of minimum auto insurance coverage:
  • Bodily Injury Liability: $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
  • Property Damage Liability: $100,000 per accident.

  Employment is contingent on providing and maintaining this insurance.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, overtime, or flex shifts.
• Ability to work safely outdoors in all seasons with potential exposure to the elements.
• High level of personal integrity and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn quickly under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment.

Pay

Hourly rate: $16 per hour, plus an additional $6.00 per activity completed. Salary range: $28,000 – $42,000 annually.

Schedule

• Friday–Tuesday workweek, with Wednesday and Thursday off.
• Shift options:
