About the role
Protiviti is looking for a Technology Audit & Advisory Senior Consultant to join our growing team. As a Senior Consultant, you will mentor, train, and coach Interns and Consultants while facilitating the successful completion of project work plans. You’ll identify areas of risk and opportunities to increase efficiency, strengthen client relationships, and deepen your abilities to communicate, gain trust, and network with client personnel and professional associates.
At the direction of Managers, you may accept responsibility for decision-making in areas including establishing project scope and work plans, project staffing, preparation of deliverables, and application of methodologies.

- Identify solutions to client problems related to technology, helping them rethink how technology processes are managed by incorporating AI and automation.
- Incorporate analytics, AI, automation, and other new tools in the execution of audit work to enable deeper, broader, and more efficient analysis of technology risks.
- Mentor and supervise teams, including oversight, review of work, coordination, and motivation.
- Build and cultivate business relationships and a professional network.
- Translate and communicate technology topics and audit issues to client personnel, including executives.
- Document findings and summarize recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or business-related field).
- 2+ years working in internal audit, consulting, assurance services, risk and control programs, or related field, either in professional services or industry.
- Experience with or understanding of:
- IT audit methodologies and developing necessary audit deliverables (process flows, work programs, audit reports, control summaries).
- Commonly used internal control frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.).
- Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance, particularly technology implications.
- Latest trends in data and technology (cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, disaster recovery, systems development methodologies).
- Analytics and technology enablement (automation, AI/ML).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access).
- Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions is a plus.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar preferred.

Pay
Starting salary range: $90,000 - $134,000, based on experience, skills, and geographic work location. Bonus target opportunity: 10%. Estimated total cash range: $99,000 - $147,400.

Schedule
Protiviti practices a hybrid model combining in-person and remote work. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and business factors. Work may include local or out-of-state travel based on project and client commitments.
