Athletics Ticket Operations Cashier
About the role
USU Ticket Operations is seeking Ticket Clerks for the Fine Arts and Athletics Ticket Offices. These positions involve answering questions, providing customer service, selling tickets, enforcing policies, and communicating with managers.
Responsibilities
- Answering questions and providing friendly customer service.
- Selling tickets for all ticketed events in the USU Athletics and Caine School of the Arts venues.
- Enforcing departmental policies and following proper cash handling procedures.
- Communicating and referring problems to the manager in charge.
- Making outbound calls and building positive relationships with all customer/patron.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Positive attitude, clear communication, teamwork skills, ability to work variable hours, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience or knowledge of arts or sports events at Utah State University.
Skills and Abilities
- A high degree of professionalism, tactful communication, and strong people skills.
- The ability to problem solve and execute instructions quickly in a calm and organized manner.

Pay
$11.00/hr
Schedule
Employees are expected to work some daytime office hours and are required to work every home football game. All other hours are flexible and vary with the schedule of home games/events, which mainly include nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Indoors, in an office space, event space, or public space are protected from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes. Incumbents may nearly continuously sit and often use repetitive hand motion (such as typing). Outdoors, incumbents may not be protected from weather conditions and may be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
