Position Summary

Duke University Athletics Association is seeking a qualified candidate for the Athletics Department Assistant position. This is a part time position (benefits ineligible) and this person will report to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
  • Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • No experience required beyond Bachelor's degree
  • No additional certifications or licenses required beyond Bachelor's degree

Essential Functions

  • Aid with marketing and external affairs support as needed
  • Provide assistance with operational needs
  • Support the executive team as assigned
  • Adhere to all Duke University, ACC & NCAA rules, and regulations

Pay Range

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.00 to USD $24.00. Factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations are considered when extending an offer.
