Job Duties
- Maintains accurate compliance records and documentation and prepares required reports, forms, and submissions to the NCAA, conference office, and University.
- Safeguards NCAA, conference, and institutional compliance processes, including eligibility certification, recruiting activities, financial aid, and playing and practice seasons.
- Supports compliance education initiatives by communicating rules interpretations, policy updates, and expectations to coaches, staff, and student-athletes.
- Affords support to investigations, self-reports, waivers, and audits by collecting information, tracking timelines, and coordinating with athletics and campus offices.
- Collaborates with admissions, registrar, financial aid, academic support, and athletics staff to ensure consistent application of NCAA and institutional policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in sports management, higher education, or a related field.
- 2 years collegiate athletics compliance or a related NCAA regulatory role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree.
- Experience utilizing Teamworks Compliance and Recruiting platform.
- Experience in NCAA Division II compliance operations.
- Experience in coaching or a strong interest in contributing to the University’s softball, volleyball or golf programs.
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry 40-50 lbs.
- Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
- Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift.
