Budget Management & Financial Analysis
- Develop, monitor, and manage the annual operating budgets for the athletic department and all individual sports programs.
- Fiscal Operations: Process purchase requisitions, authorize payment of invoices, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Travel and Logistics
- Coordinate team travel logistics, including transportation, housing, and meals, auditing expenditures for compliance.
Compliance and Reporting
- Assist with NCAA, EADA, and university compliance reporting on operational revenue and expenses.
Contracting and Procurement
- Secure bids, negotiate contract pricing with vendors, and prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
Staff/Assistant Supervision
- Supervise student assistants or junior staff, including training and work assignments.
Revenue Generation Support
- Assist with ticketing reports, marketing partnerships, and fundraising revenue reports and projects.
Game Day Operations Staff Support
- Assist with game day operations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, sports management, or a related field.
- Experience: Work experience in athletic administration, business management, or accounting.
- NCAA Knowledge: General understanding of NCAA rules and regulations regarding financial reporting, scholarships, and compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with financial systems (e.g., Banner).
