Athletic Trainer (PRN)

About the role

Provide services in regards to prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care and rehabilitation for all active individuals and sports related injuries. Overall goal is to maximize safe return to activity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional development and responsibility within the field of athletic training.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Operate in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Minimum Required Education: Graduate of athletic training program from accredited college or university.
• Licensure: State of practice licensure or eligibility for Athletic Trainer.
• Experience: None required.
• Certification/Registration: Certification through the Board of Certification, Inc.
• Professional Rescuer CPR or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Preferred Education: Master's Degree in athletic training or related field.
• Preferred Experience: Some experience preferred.
• Preferred Certification: National Athletic Trainers Association certification as an athletic trainer.
