Athletic Trainer, PRN Acute

Duties

• Provide onsite care for the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
• Set up referrals of student athletes to appropriate physicians for further evaluation and imaging.
• Implement injury prevention strategies through education, postural and ergonomic coaching, and promoting overall wellness.
• Ensure effective communication with Physicians and coaches regarding the injury status and/or limitations of student athletes.
• Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Perform administrative and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• You must be BOC certified and eligible to possess state athletic training licensure, certification or registration (Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification).
• An NPI number is required.
• You must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
