Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required.
- Masters of Science in Athletic Training preferred.
- One year experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer preferred.
- Strength & Conditioning and/or Fitness Coaching experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Prevention, recognition, evaluation and immediate care, rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries.
- Rendering of emergency care.
- Development of injury prevention programs.
- Providing appropriate rehabilitative interventions and devices for the physically active person.
- Athletic assessment and planning.
- Implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care activities.
- Promoting athletic development through coaching and supervising clients in the Performance Athlete and Bridge programs.

Working Conditions
- Routine Hospital/Healthcare, Athletic Training Room & Office/Administrative conditions.
- Contact with patients, athletes and guests under a wide variety of circumstances.
- Exposure to infections and contagious disease.
- Exposure to hazardous anesthetic agents, body fluids and waste.
- Exposure to flammable and explosive gases.
- Exposure to varying and unpredictable situations, including the handling of emergency or crisis situations.
- Pressure due to irregular hours, frequent interruptions and stressful situations due to multiple demands.
