Job Title: Athletic Trainer/DME Field Service Rep (Southwest VT)

Reports To: Field Service Team Lead

Location: Southwest VT & Northwest MA

Business Unit: Field Services - Bracing & Supports

Role Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual with a passion for patient care in an orthopedic setting and background in Durable Medical Equipment to join us as a Field Service Representative in Southwest VT & Northwest MA.

What You'll Do

  • Pays attention to the details and collaborates with partners and patients.
  • Manages day-to-day service operations for DME programs.
  • Travels within designated territory, monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels.
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Adheres to compliance and ethics programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, and HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides account management and manages day-to-day service operations for DME programs.
  • Verifies patient benefits using automation tools, including pre-authorization and/or upfront collection of patient responsibility.
  • Performs routine evaluations of customer clinic needs and works with Sales and Field Service Teams to make modifications to improve DME inventory program performance.
  • Serves as a liaison between the customer, Enovis, and the Sales Team.
  • Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.

Minimum Basic Qualifications

  • A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with direct patient care, preferably in an orthopedic, physical therapy, or athletic training environment, or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated patient care experience.
  • Experience dealing with multiple physicians in a high-volume clinic.
  • Demonstrated experience with the application of soft goods/functional bracing.
  • Previous experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs.
  • Must satisfy third-party credentialing/screening requirements to gain access to hospital accounts.
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
  • Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with and knowledge of insurance reimbursement/DME billing requirements.

Physical Demands

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
  • May be required to travel up to 10-90% of the time, but overnight travel is not required.
