Position Summary
Onsite Innovations is hiring an experienced and self-driven Full-Time ATC position. This role will provide healthcare support at our onsite healthcare clinic located at a client's construction site in Boston, MA. Site Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:30AM-1:30PM Pay Range: $32-35/hr
About the Role
This role involves providing basic first aid treatment, identifying and evaluating injuries, collaborating with HR and management, managing Workers' Compensation cases, and promoting personal health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal and non-musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses as specified in Physician Standing Orders
- Evaluate and refer injured associates to the appropriate clinicians
- Follow appropriate action plan and standing orders to respond to onsite medical emergencies
- Absorb and communicate MSD-related statistics for client stakeholders
- Manage pre-employment functional testing process and provide vision acuity testing
- Coordinate injury prevention programs, ergonomic training and evaluation
- Create job rotation plans for production areas and monitor compliance
- Administer drug and alcohol testing
- Perform data analysis to measure direct and indirect costs of musculoskeletal disorders
- Author articles for various newsletters and the company Intranet site as requested
Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent Certifications
- Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
- Experience in an Onsite setting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge of Athletic Trainer services consistent with an Onsite setting
- Outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to deal with people in a manner which shows tact and professionalism
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to exercise proper judgment, make decisions, and motivate employees
- Knowledge of principles, practices, standards and techniques of athletic training
- Adept at developing and maintaining patient care records and writing reports
- Skilled in time management, planning and workload control
- Detail oriented
