About the role

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Industrial Athletic Trainer to provide injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport. The role aims to enhance industrial athletes' safety and reduce injury risks through early intervention.

Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as per OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural education and/or escalation of medical care if needed
  • Coordinate and implement rehabilitation treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and offer support by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands to prevent musculoskeletal conditions
  • Keep detailed, efficient records and provide feedback to improve health continuously
  • Prepare and present reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations management

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related field and NATABOC certification
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain them
  • CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before start
  • Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
  • Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications

Pay

$35/HR starting rate with a $3,000 sign-on bonus available!

Schedule

Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00am-4:30pm

Eligibility to Work

This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).
