Athletic Trainer
About the role
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Industrial Athletic Trainer to provide injury prevention services onsite for a major airline carrier at the Atlanta Hartsfield – Jackson International Airport. The role aims to enhance industrial athletes' safety and reduce injury risks through early intervention.
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as per OSHA standards, including ergonomic postural education and/or escalation of medical care if needed
- Coordinate and implement rehabilitation treatment plans incorporating therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioning as necessary
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and offer support by understanding site operations, job processes, and physical demands to prevent musculoskeletal conditions
- Keep detailed, efficient records and provide feedback to improve health continuously
- Prepare and present reports with key metrics to leadership, client partners, and operations management
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or a related field and NATABOC certification
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain them
- CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before start
- Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations, preferred
- Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience is a plus
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications

Pay
$35/HR starting rate with a $3,000 sign-on bonus available!

Wednesday - Saturday, 6:00am-4:30pm
