About the role
The Athletic Performance Graduate Assistant (GA) will design and implement strength and conditioning programs for various athletic teams, assist with football, provide instruction for safe and effective lifting technique and equipment use, communicate with sport coaches, athletic trainers and other athletic performance staff members, and oversee and mentor undergraduate strength and conditioning students.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- CSCS or SCCC certification or working toward completion of certification – must be completed by start date
- Previous experience in athletic performance programming and coaching preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills to work effectively with student-athletes and colleagues
Qualifications
- Acceptance into the Northwestern College Master of Education program OR an accredited online program elsewhere
