Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to successfully complete required school division training for the weapons detection system
- Must demonstrate good judgment and the ability to remain calm during potentially stressful situations
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work professionally with students, staff, parents, spectators, officials, and law enforcement personnel
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be capable of standing and remaining attentive for extended periods
- Must be willing to follow all Mathews County Public Schools policies, athletic event procedures, and security protocols
- Must successfully complete any required background screening or other employment requirements established by the school division
Pay
$60 per athletic event
