About the Role
Under the direction of the school administration, the Middle School Athletic Coordinator manages the athletic program at Uintah Middle School.
Responsibilities
- Set up gyms and/or fields for games
- Find clock operators
- Arrange supervisors
- Help coaches with schedules
- Arrange and pay officials
- Communicate with coaches
- Communicate athlete, coach, and parent concerns with the building administration
- Check to make sure the facilities are safe
- Be part of hiring committees for Middle School coaches
- Communicate and coordinate with school administration regarding athletics
- Other duties as assigned by administration
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Successful coaching experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Willing to work cooperatively and collaboratively with other teachers and staff
An applicant with a teaching certificate may receive preference.
This is a voucher position with no benefits.
