About the Role

Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) is a registered non-government development organization licensed by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. ESDO began its journey in 1988 with the noble vision of establishing solidarity with the poor and marginalized. As a people-centered organization, ESDO envisions a society free from inequality and injustice. The organization implements various social development and skill enhancement activities/projects. ESDO is currently working for the overall development of 15 million ultra-poor people across 408 upazilas in 53 districts of the country.

Responsibilities

• Select members for loan disbursement, installment collection, and new member enrollment; upon selection, inform the Branch Manager and obtain clearance to complete group formation
• Begin weekly savings collection after the group formation process is completed
• Manage a specified number of groups according to the branch's size and association guidelines
• In regular group management, alongside savings and loan installment collection, discuss various socio-economic issues such as education, health, nutrition, family planning, environment, etc.
• Write and sign group resolutions in weekly meetings
• In loan disbursement, preliminarily select borrowing members through the selection committee and present them for approval
• Ensure 100% daily collection
• Sign the daily office attendance register and sign the movement register when leaving the office
• Verify that borrowers are using the loan money in the intended sectors
• Report according to the specified reporting format
• Perform other tasks as directed by the authorities

• Skills: Bangla language proficiency, Bengali, administration jobs, back office operations, vacancy monitoring
