Job Summary
KKL Israel is a national food relief organization in Israel responsible for collecting surplus fresh fruits and vegetables from farms and agricultural cooperatives, processed food from hotels, military bases, and community kitchens, and distributing it through partner organizations across the country to thousands of needy individuals each week. The target population includes low socioeconomic status communities facing food insecurity and lacking awareness about healthy eating practices and their impact on health. These communities include: refugees, Holocaust survivors, at-risk children, and families in distress. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and applications.
- Manage and document system configurations, permissions, and knowledge base.
- Develop and enhance priorities – regular updates, addressing development requirements, permissions, and process management.
- Implement and deploy BI tools – optimize processes with suppliers and department managers, and conduct user training sessions.
- Centralize communication and interface with various departments.
- Collaborate internally and externally to support the department manager.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in complex IT environments, including AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365, with emphasis on infrastructure setup and maintenance.
- Experience working with large organizational systems.
- Strong understanding of the Priority System and Power BI.
- Database Administrator (DBA) experience is a significant advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently, and make decisions, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects and systems.
- Knowledge of the Priority System and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
