About the role

IDA is an independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters, and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in performing their daily activities.
• Measure patients' vital signs.
• Assist patients who need support while walking.
• Report all patient medical conditions to the supervisor.
• Control the spread of infection by following infection control measures.
• Help ensure the quality of medical care and therapeutic and preventive procedures that meet the highest standards of care and hygiene, including but not limited to: following, recommending, and monitoring hygiene measures (medical waste disposal, hand washing).
• Document on required records according to the direct supervisor's instructions.
• Execute the direct supervisor's instructions according to the recommendations given by them.
• Maintain patient rights, dignity, and confidentiality, and maintain a friendly atmosphere when dealing with patients.
• Contribute effectively to improving the organization's services.
• Perform any other duties within their expertise as assigned by the supervisor, the medical coordinator, or their assistant.
• Strictly adhere to humanitarian and protection principles and standards, as well as organizational policies, including the Code of Conduct, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and Child Protection.

Qualifications

• Nursing certificate.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a nurse.
• Licensed to practice.
