About the Role

The AT/Financial Center Manager (FCM) is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, the internal sales process, and customer experience. This role ensures adherence to all policies, procedures, and risk management practices. The FCM provides reporting related to operations, controls, and budgetary guidelines while overseeing security, financial controls, collections, and daily opening/closing procedures. Additionally, the incumbent may assist with platform sales and service responsibilities and is responsible for coaching, performance management, and talent development of direct reports.

Approximately 50% of the FCM’s time is spent in the branch managing, observing, coaching, and driving internal sales and operational processes. The remaining 50% is dedicated to external business development and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and owns all facets of day-to-day branch operations.
  • Ensures successful execution of the internal sales process by all staff to drive results.
  • Guarantees staff provide an extraordinary customer experience by executing Spencer’s customer service behaviors.
  • Ensures staff operate proficiently with branch operations, policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Actively participates in local community and business events to promote the bank’s brand.
  • Assists the VP Market Manager in creating the annual business plan for the financial center.
  • Creates, with the support of the Financial Center Assistant Manager, a monthly branch sales tactical plan to meet sales goals.
  • Ensures the branch meets and exceeds corporate and compliance audit expectations.
  • Engages in outside business development activities.
  • Manages branch profitability.
  • Ensures consistent monthly coaching and employee development.
  • Handles performance management and talent management.
  • Manages scheduling to meet branch productivity and efficiency standards.
  • Performs and reviews branch audits.
  • May perform other duties as requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises the Financial Center Assistant Manager and Financial Center Relationship Representative. Indirectly supervises Financial Center Service Representatives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of financial center management/supervision experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Sales/Service management experience preferred.
