Assurance Senior Associate [Commercial Services Group]

About the role

As CohnReznick grows, we offer an exciting opportunity for an Assurance Senior Associate to join one of our NY Metro offices in a hybrid capacity. You will support the Commercial Services Industry Group, which serves clients in the Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing & Distribution sectors, working with middle‑market and growth‑oriented companies to provide integrated advisory, assurance, and tax services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre‑engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
• Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Industry experience required
• CHAMP SEC & PCAOB experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam

Skills

• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay

In New York, the salary range for Assurance Senior Associates is $85,000 - $140,000. Salary determination varies based on geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.

Schedule

Hybrid work arrangement (combination of remote and in‑office work) in the NY Metro area.
