Assurance Senior Associate [Affordable Housing Group]
About the role
CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join the Affordable Housing team in our Chicago office. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans
- Illustrate budgets and schedules
- Actively participate in proposals
- Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
- CPA designation or the ability to sit for the CPA exam(s) required
- 3+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
- Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus

- Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

Benefits
In Illinois, the salary range for an Assurance Senior Associate is $85,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, to name a few.

The salary range for an Assurance Senior Associate in Illinois is $85,000 to $120,000.
