Assurance Manager | Senior Assurance Manager

Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Assurance Manager or Senior Assurance Manager with a strong background in leading assurance engagements and serving as a trusted advisor to privately held clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor audit staff and seniors across multiple engagements
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative team environment
  • Review workpapers and provide technical guidance and coaching
  • Assist with staff development, performance feedback, and training
  • Manage audit and review engagements from planning through completion
  • Serve as primary point of contact for manufacturing and closely held clients
  • Identify internal control improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Provide value-added insights beyond compliance
  • Ensure compliance with GAAS and firm quality standards
  • Review financial statements and related disclosures
  • Assist with complex technical accounting matters
  • Stay current on evolving accounting and assurance standards

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license required
  • 6+ years of public accounting experience in assurance
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
