Responsibilities

  • Execute core functions of the Manager role, contributing to team objectives and maintaining quality standards.
  • Support client service delivery through effective audit execution.
  • Lead and manage audit engagements and teams, including planning, executing, and completing audits while overseeing junior and senior audit staff.
  • Apply strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities, balance competing responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain quality in accordance with firm and client standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with firm personnel and clients, manage client relationships, respond to client needs, and address issues while building trust.
  • Apply sound business judgment, risk awareness, and ethical integrity to ensure audit quality, compliance, and independence, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Work effectively in a professional office environment and at client sites, including prolonged periods at a computer using standard office equipment.
  • Work extended and/or non-standard hours during peak periods to meet client, project, or firm business needs.
  • Maintain consistent onsite presence during core business hours, report regularly to a firm office, and travel to client sites as required.

Requirements

USA Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • Active CPA (or equivalent certification) required.
  • 5+ years of recent assurance experience within a public accounting environment with substantial exposure to external audit engagements.
  • Strong technical proficiency with financial reporting, audit procedures, and auditing standards, including US GAAP, US GAAS, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Canada Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other discipline from an accredited University.
  • Active CPA (or equivalent certification) required.
  • 5+ years of recent assurance experience within a public accounting environment with substantial exposure to external audit engagements.
  • Strong technical proficiency with financial reporting, audit procedures, and auditing standards, including GAAP, CASs, or other relevant regulatory requirements.

Pay

Compensation Range: $89,800 - $170,500. Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance. An employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, and location.
