Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal control systems.
  • Build relationships with clients and respond to inquiries and concerns.
  • Analyze financial statements and related disclosures for material misstatements or discrepancies.
  • Review and examine client financial records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge in auditing through training programs and certifications.

Requirements

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program).
  • Foundational accounting knowledge (GAAP and GAAS).
  • Has earned enough units (or is close) to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) licensure.

Pay

$72,500 - $80,000 annually
