ASST SURVEILLANCE SUPV

About the role

May perform duties of a Surveillance Officer. Observes activities of casino guests and employees. Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures. Records and documents such activities where appropriate and reports the activities to appropriate officials. Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties. Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily operations of surveillance shift, in absence of shift supervisor
• Affords assistance and mentoring to surveillance staff
• Promotes positive public relations
• Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• College degree preferred, may substitute additional experience for degree
• Minimum two (2) years of appropriate experience
• Strong supervisory skills
• Strong technical and manual skills
• Strong math and writing skills required
• Strong computer skills required
• Effective communication skills required
• Knowledge of casino table games and slot operations required
• Knowledge of skilled and advantage casino play, and methods to defraud a casino
• NJ Casino Key License required

Qualifications

• All applicants must adhere to the regulations set forth in N.J.A.C. 1369D-1.10 and 1.11, and must sign an acknowledgment of these regulatory requirements prior to being employed in the Surveillance Department
